  Nicest rooms I've seen in a hotel in quite a while. Newly renovated but king bed rooms aren't very big. No bath only shower. The view from the shower can be a bit startling but most people will get used to it

  Spent $198 on a room for the night and then got charged $10 for parking. An outside lot at that. Come on now...

  My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Lovely updated hotel, which I understand was recently rebranded. Staff very friendly, restaurant was very good, rooms were fresh and ours had a great view of the harbour. Would certainly recommend and expect that we will be returning there in a few weeks. Oh, must mention the warm cookies that we were given upon arrival! When the clerk found out that I couldn't eat mine, he offered to get me a fruit bowl instead. That was a much appreciated gesture.

  Place is great as a venue. We used for regional presentations and the amenities were great! Staff was very helpful, washrooms were clean, and parking was free and plentiful.

  Awesome so far 5 more nights to go...love the renos and modern theme..even if room is small it is comfortable..just wishing we had more than one comfy chair to enjoy a sip of wine or a cup of coffee.

  Update....well the day we placed the review and got back to our room..guess what..there it was an extra chair waiting for us..amazing..we were so pleasantly surprised..thank you Double tree for amazing Service..we highly recommend...
